We packed our itinerary pretty full for Aurielle's Spring Break.

The Natural Bridge Caverns were amazing. I hadn't seen them since I was little and Aurielle loved the feeling of stepping into another world. We took her to the Wildlife Ranch next door afterwards where a herd of zebras tried to enter our car after a bag of animal chow.

The next weekend we headed to Palacios, TX on the coast to check out a new development on the bay (beautiful and an impressive investment). Aurielle had fun playing in the ocean.

We've hit the home stretch! Third trimester already.

Life is pretty busy. We are halfway through our Birthing From Within classes, Aurielle turned six on Tuesday, Lee is going full steam ahead with his web programming business, and I've been miserably sick with the flu all week. I think this is God's way of telling me to slow down - I'm pregnant for goodness sake!

We have given the issue of where to birth Bruce extensive thought and extensive research and have decided to birth him at the Austin Area Birthing Center.

We are so happy to have finally made this decision! I am so impressed with the knowledge of the midwives and excited to be at a place that 'clicks' with us!

Check out the sonogram pics! We are having a little baby boy - Bruce Lyon Northcutt! Lee, Aurielle, and I all went to the doctor's office today for an ultrasound and appointment.

We had a preliminary ultrasound and the due date is May 08, 2008.

I must admit that I am a little skeptical about this whole 'determining the due date from a minuscule picture on the ultrasound' thing, but I am excited to find that we appear to be a little further along than we expected!

Everything looks great and the little one is progressing well :)

Well guys, as you all know - it's official: Aurielle will be a big sister in 8 months and we will be parents for a second time around!

We are super-excited and so is the Bean. She has been 'practicing' to be a big sister with her favorite baby doll, John Denver, ever since Cara and Chase announced they are pregnant.
